SERVICES: 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 29, 2006, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa with Rev. C. W. Parker, chaplain of Odyssey Healthcare, officiating.ENTOMBMENT: Memory Gardens Mausoleum with military honors courtesy of the U. S. Army, Ft. Hood, Texas.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Gray was born on Sept. 24, 1923 in Enid, Oklahoma. He married Virginia "Billie" Tillman on Dec. 31, 1948 in Pampa. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in 5 campaigns during World War II. In 2001, he was inducted into the Freedom Museum Veteran's Hall of Fame. Mr. Gray worked for Cabot Carbon Black for over 20 years as a maintenance supervisor. He was a member of the Pampa VFW Post, and he was a Baptist.SURVIVORS: Wife: Virginia "Billie" Gray of the home; 2 sons: Everett Leon Gray of Fort Worth and Ronald Elbert Gray of Graham; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Beede, and by a brother, Donald Gray.MEMORIALS: Odyssey Healthcare, 6900 W.
