SERVICES: 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 28, 2006, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Scott Reasor, elder of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Douglas was born on May 15, 1933 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was a resident of Shamrock for 30 years before moving to Pampa in 1968. She married Robert Douglas on March 7, 1950 in Shamrock. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by a grandson, R. J. Douglas, in 1998, by a great grandson, Ethan Bruce Odell, in 2005, by 3 brothers, Charles Patton in 2001, Marion Patton in 1994, and Ronnie Joe Patton in 1975.SURVIVORS: 3 sons: Robert Douglas and wife Debbie, Raymond Douglas and wife Debbie, and Russell Douglas and wife Robin, all of Pampa; a daughter, Nona Melanson and husband Rick of Pampa; 2 sisters: Joyce Wells and husband Tom and Patsy Pempin and husband Jim, all of Leavenworth, Kansas; 4 brothers: Jerry Patton and wife JoAnn of Kansas City, Missouri, Marvin Patton and wife Darlene of Seneca, Missouri, Billy Patton and wife Mary Kay and Michael Patton and wife Patricia, all of Leavenworth; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, P. O. Box 199300, Dallas, TX 75210-9300.SPECIAL NOTICE: The family will be at the home of Robert Douglas at 8636 County Rd. 4, west of Pampa.
