SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, March 17, 2006, at Fairview Cemetery, with Nathan Bailey of the Wells Street Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Mason was born August 17, 1920 in South Mayde, Texas. He married Rosene Davis on June 1, 1946 in Amarillo. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1946. He retired from Celanese Corp. He was a member of the Wells Street Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving during World War II, stationed at the Pampa Army Airfield.SURVIVORS: Wife: Rosene Mason of the home. 1 Son: Danny Mason of Amarillo. 1 Sister: Edna Faye Hazel of Mustang, Oklahoma. 2 Grandchildren: Camellia Ann Coronado of Amarillo and Keith Elliot Mason & wife Ann of Jacksonville, North Carolina. 5 Great-Grandchildren: Jarrett John Coronado and Jordan Jeffery Coronado, both of Amarillo, Dustin Mason, Jacqueline Mason and Andrew Mason, all of Jacksonville, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers; his twin Ralph Lee Mason who died when he was 6 months old, Troy Mason, R. D. Mason, Everett Mason and William E. (Dub) Mason.
