SERVICES: 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, with Doug Hixson, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Hon was born September 21, 1933 in Mt. Vernon, Texas. He graduated from Aspermont High School in Aspermont, Texas. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He married Reba F. Bible on July 13, 1957 in Lamesa. He retired from National Oilwell in 1995 after 35 years of service. He was a deacon at Hobart Baptist Church and at Cornerstone Baptist Church. He taught Sunday School at Hobart Baptist Church for 15 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Hon, and his mother, Mattie Patterson.The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. George Smith, Dr. Giang Nguyen, John Hartin and all the ICU nurses and surgical staff. Also, special thanks to Jim & Nancy Fox, their former pastor and wife, the Vista Care Hospice, and the Cornerstone Baptist Church family. SURVIVORS: Wife: Reba F.
