She married Claud Edwards on July 2, 1948 in Pampa. He preceded her in death in 1976. She and her husband formerly owned and operated a laundromat in Pampa for many years. She was a former schoolteacher in Miami. She was a member of the Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Sue Edwards in 1957.SURVIVORS: 1 Nephew: Guy Smith of Miami. 5 Great-Nephews, 2 Great-Nieces.
