SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 1:30 PM Thursday, March 2, 2006, at the White Deer Cemetery, with Matthew Miller, her great-grandson, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Born November 3, 1919 in Lambert, Oklahoma, to Lot & Dora (Vandruff) Fox. She married Clifford Doty on November 29, 1936 in Hopeton, Oklahoma, and he preceded her in death in 1997. In 60 years of marriage, she and her husband were never separated except by illness. Her family was the most important thing in her life. SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Phil Doty & wife Barbara of Long Beach, California, and Gary Doty & wife Dianne of Amarillo. 4 Grandchildren: Denise Miller & husband Scott of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Pam Whelchel & husband Jeff of Amarillo, Paul Doty & wife Letty of Japan, and Kim Iriarte & husband Rich of Long Beach, California. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren who loved her very much. Survivors also include 2 brothers, Charles Fox & wife Geri of Henefer, Utah, and Harry Fox of Capron, Oklahoma, and numerous other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Stonnie. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.She will be greatly missed at the Georgia Manor where she had been a resident for the past 15 months.
