Funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Pampa with Bishop John Yanta of the Amarillo Diocese, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Urbanczyk was born September 22, 1914 in White Deer, to John & Rose Urbanczyk, one of the first settlers in the Texas Panhandle. He had been a lifelong resident of White Deer, graduating from White Deer High School. He married Joy Griffin and she preceded him in death in 1968. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Pampa and the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher. He was a farmer, rancher, businessman, and oil wildcatter. He was a founder and supporter of the Genesis House in Pampa. He was a contributor to the building of the cross in Groom, and he contributed in the building of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church and facilities. He was a member of the Pampa Chamber of Commerce and was a former president and member of the White Deer Lions Club, and he was active in the White Deer Independent School District.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: J'Non Wright of Olympia, Washington, and J'Hon Lathy of Columbus, Ohio. 2 Sons: Jonathan Urbanczyk of Miami, Florida, and Christopher Urbanczyk of Houston. 1 Brother: Will Urbanczyk & wife Pat of White Deer. 1 Sister-in-Law: Isabelle Urbanczyk, of Panhandle. 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Genesis House, 615 W.
