SERVICES: 10:00 AM Saturday, February 11, 2006, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Mike Sublett, pastor of Hi-Land Christian Church, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 11, 2006, at the Prairie Dell Cemetery in Hemphill County under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Pyeatt was born September 12, 1908 in Durham, Oklahoma. She married Floyd Pyeatt on July 25, 1931 in Sayre, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1982. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1959. She was a reading special education school teacher for Pampa Independent School District for 31 years, retiring May 24, 1974. She was a member of the Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. She was a member of the Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star, and the Rebekah Lodge. SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Opel Moore of Copperas Cove. 1 Brother: Elgin Poindexter of Rogers, Arkansas. 4 Grandsons: Floyd Lee White of Copperas Cove, Darrel Wayne White and James Edwin Moore, both of Pampa, and Gregory Don White of Sugar Land. 5 Great-Grandchildren: Dara White and Jamie White, both of Sinton, Michael Moore and Daryl Moore, both of Pampa, and Brian White. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Lee Pyeatt in 1940, 4 brothers, Hershel Poindexter, Kenneth Poindexter, Chester Poindexter and Warren Poindexter, and 1 sister, Vesta Grissom.
