Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Taylor, pastor, and Rev. Becky Nenstiel, co-pastor of New Hope Assembly of God in Panhandle, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Clara Marie Roth Nenstiel was born July 24, 1918 in Clay County, Kansas. She graduated from Clay Center Kansas High School and attended Kansas State College.She married Donald Nenstiel on July 31, 1943 in Clay Center, Kansas. They moved to Pampa, Texas in 1945.She taught school in Clay County, Kansas for 5 years and in Pampa, Texas for fourteen years. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church, Pampa for more than 50 years having taught in the children's department and being a faithful member of the Friendship Class. She was also active in the United Methodist Women.Mrs. Nenstiel was an avid bridge and dominoes player. She loved to cook, crochet and care for her family. Her greatest joy was in being a loving and giving wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye.She is survived by her husband, Donald of the home; a son Daryl Nenstiel of Atlanta, Georgia; a son, Joe Nenstiel and wife Becky of Panhandle, Texas; a grandson, Andy Nenstiel and wife Nancy of Amarillo, Texas: a granddaughter, Sarah Marie Garrison and husband Christopher of Springfield, Missouri; two great granddaughters, Clara and Catherine Nenstiel of Amarillo, Texas; a sister, Helen Schurle, of Green, Kansas; two brothers, Carol Roth of Green, Kansas and Paul Roth of Manhattan, Kansas.
