SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Taylor, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Wells was born on July 25, 1908 in Bronte, Texas to Rev. Charles and Bessie Morton. She married Ray Manly Wells on Oct. 12, 1924 in Weatherford, Texas. He preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1985. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1942. She was business manager for the Woodrow Wilson school cafeteria for 7 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was a former president of the Friendship Sunday School Class. She also sang in the senior choir and was a former president of the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Wells was a volunteer for the hospital auxiliary for 20 years and enjoyed playing her classical violin.SURVIVORS: Son: Ray M.Wells, Jr. of Richardson; daughter: Elizabeth Sisk of Pampa; 1 sister: Frances Jenkins of Kingsland; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Malvin Morton, Mary Ida Manuel, and Martha Keaton.MEMORIALS: Odyssey Healthcare, 6900 W.
