SERVICES: 10:00 AM Thursday, January 26, 2006, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Glen Walton, minister of the Bell Ave. Church of Christ of Amarillo, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 26, 2006, at the Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Rawls was born January 6, 1922 in Palmer, Texas to Mary & Mack Jones. She married Ernest H. Rawls on January 30, 1941 in Memphis. He preceded her in death on October 13, 1981. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1941. She worked for Levine's Store for several years, and worked as a clerk in the Gray County ASCS office for 34 years. She had been a member of the Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ since 1956. She had lived the past 5 years with her grandson Kevin and his family in Herber City, Utah, recently returning to Pampa to live in the Pampa Nursing Center as a result of her Alzheimer's disease. SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Buddy Gene Rawls & wife Sheila of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 1 Sister: Ima Jo Hoggatt of Pampa. 1 Brother: Horace Jones & wife Kay of Irving. 3 Grandchildren: Kevin Rawls and his family of Heber City, Utah, Kirk Rawls and his family of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Cherie Tedesco and her family of Tampa, Florida. 11 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
