SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Thrasher was born on March 18, 1916 in Cooke County, Texas and came to Amarillo in 1921 where he lived until 1936. In 1936, he moved to Canadian and resided there until moving to Pampa in 1950. He married Juanita Pendergraft on April 1, 1938 in Canadian. She preceded him in death in 1984. He was a conductor for Santa Fe Railway for 37 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, United Transportation Union #1313 in Amarillo, Canadian Masonic Lodge #855, and Pampa Senior Citizens Center. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Joe Thrasher and J.M. Thrasher; 1 sister: Alta Faye McGeehee; and a grandson: Dale Glen Collins.SURVIVORS: 1 son: Harold L. Thrasher of Clovis, NM; 1 daughter: Wanda Fay Caldera of Pampa; 1 brother: Bob Thrasher of Pampa; 3 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, Texas 75219.
