SERVICES: 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 21, 2006, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. George Turner, pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Mobeetie Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Chambers was born September 15, 1919 in Boogerholler, Oklahoma. She was reared in Mobeetie, graduating from Mobeetie High School in 1938. She lived in Oakdale, California for many years, moving back to Texas in 1990. She received many awards for her artwork, including the Artists of the Southwest Show in Amarillo. She taught art in Dalhart and Pampa for many years.SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Nelda Pisors & husband Bob of San Antonio. 1 Brother: Robert McCain & wife Linda of Pampa. 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Chambers, and a son Richard Duncan.MEMORIALS: American Heart Association, 6605 West I-40, Suite A-6, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
