SERVICES: Vigil services will be at 6:30 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2006, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, and funeral mass will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 12, 2006, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Quintana was born March 27, 1924 in Nacori Chico Sonora, Mexico. He married Juanna Samaniego on July 10, 1948 in Nacori Chico Sonora, Mexico, and she preceded him in death. He first came to the U. S. in 1973 and worked in the farming and ranching business in New Mexico for 5 years. He then moved to Perryton and worked in the oil & gas industry for 2 years. He returned to Mexico for a time, and then moved to Pampa where he had been a resident for the past 4 ? years. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church.SURVIVORS: 5 Children: Ramon Quintana of Mexico City, Ofelia Hernandez of Pampa, Albino Quintana and Bernardo Quintana, both of Perryton, and Maria J. Quintana of Amarillo. 21 Grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.MEMORIALS: St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 810 W. 23rd Pampa, Texas 79065.
