Barry Loving, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Wells was born August 30, 1921 in Erath County. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1950. She married J. V. Wells in 1950, and he preceded her in death in 1976. She was a member of the Home Extension Club "Loners on Wheels" for 15 years. She was a 50-year member of the First Christian Church. She loved camping, fishing, and spent a lot of years with grandsons, Stacy Pierce and Clint Lindsey. She had a lot of camping stories to tell and she was an avid doll collector.SURVIVORS: 3 Daughters: Anita Johnson & husband Gene of Clarendon, Gail Compton & husband Bert of Amarillo, and Laura Lindsey & husband Bob of Pampa. 1 Stepson: Billy Wells & wife Blanche of Dallas. 1 Brother: J. W. Gresham & wife Margie of Springfield, Missouri. 2 Grandsons: Stacy Pierce & wife Samantha, and Clint Lindsey & wife Yvonne, all of Amarillo. 3 Step-grandchildren. 2 Great-Grandchildren: Kaison Lindsey and Max Pierce, both of Amarillo. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Lavell Byas and Lois Reasoner. MEMORIALS: First Christian Church, 1633 N.
