She married Charles Wayne Brister on Aug. 24, 1935 in Grandfield, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by a son, Fred Brister in 1996, by a sister, Ruth Carter, and by 3 brothers, Charles Green, Ed Green and Dan Green.SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Chrys Smith and husband Ron of Pampa; 1 son: Dan Brister and wife Joey of Odessa ; daughter-in-law: Jan Brister of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.MEMORIALS: American Heart Association, 6605 W.
