SERVICES: 10:00 AM Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Howard Batson, pastor of First Baptist Church of Amarillo, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Brister was born on Sept. 3, 1914 in Sylacauga, Alabama and had been a resident of Pampa since 1936. She married Charles Wayne Brister on Aug. 24, 1935 in Grandfield, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by a son, Fred Brister in 1996, by a sister, Ruth Carter, and by 3 brothers, Charles Green, Ed Green and Dan Green.SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Chrys Smith and husband Ron of Pampa; 1 son: Dan Brister and wife Joey of Odessa ; daughter-in-law: Jan Brister of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.MEMORIALS: American Heart Association, 6605 W.
