BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Jenkins was born August 29, 1926 in Memphis, Texas. He married Bobbie Jean Nunnelley on March 20, 1948 in Memphis. She preceded him in death in 1988. He was a custodian for the U. S. Postal Service for 30 years. He was a member of the Hobart Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Ronnie D. Jenkins of Pampa. 3 Brothers: Alton Wayne Jenkins & wife Linda of McLouth, Kansas, Olin Ray Jenkins & wife Elizabeth of Blackwell, Texas, and James Ralph Jenkins & wife Minerva of Abilene, Kansas. 1 Sister-in-Law: Audrey Jenkins of Pampa. Many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Rudolph Lavaughn Jenkins, Jr., in 1996, 3 sisters, Luava Hunter, Thelma Walker and Zettie Jo Sigler, and 2 brothers, L. E.
