SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2005, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Jess Little, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Claude, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Stewart was born February 27, 1920 in Fleetwood, Oklahoma. She married Boyd Stewart on April 8, 1942 in Caddo, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1956. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1954. She was employed with the Selective Service Office, and later worked as an administrative assistant with the Social Security Administration, retiring in 1986 after 26 years of service. After her retirement, she continued to volunteer her services at the Social Security Administration for an additional 10 years. She was a member of the Harrah Methodist Church, the American Business Women's Association, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Pat Rich of Huffman. 1 Son: Parker Stewart & wife Martha of Claude. 4 Grandchildren: Alan Rich & wife Sharon, and Ann Rich, all of Huffman, Zed Stewart & wife Heather of Nursery, and Staci Lowry & husband Paul of Dumas. 2 Great-Grandsons: Duncan Stewart of Nursery and John William Rich of Huffman. She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Coffey, and a son-in-law, William Rich.
