SERVICES: 2:00 PM Wednesday in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. C. W. Parker, pastor of Harvest Fellowship and Odyssey Hospice chaplain, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Bell was born on Feb. 22, 1933 in Pampa to C. J. and Eva Hess. They both died in 1976. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1951. She married Vernon Bell on Feb. 20, 1972 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death in 1997. She and her husband owned and operated V. Bell Oil Co. for 25 years. They had the first automatic car wash in Pampa, the first of several. Their greatest joy was their love to fish and hang out at the house on the coast. They were well known for their fabulous parties at their home in Pampa. SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Scott Murray of Pampa, Michael Murray and wife Valerie of Belton, and son-in-law, Dan Marullo. 8 grandchildren: Ashley, Alysia, Trent, Connor, Cheyne, Justice, ChristiAna and AnnaMarie. 2 Brothers: Bob Hess of Crane and Cecil Hess of Hineston, Louisiana; 2 sisters: Charlie Gross of Beaver, OK and Marilyn Kelton of Lubbock; numerous nieces and nephews and in-laws. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janie Murray in 2005, and by a grandson, Daniel Scott Murray, in 1987.MEMORIALS: Pampa Senior Citizens, 500 W.
