SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2005, at the Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler, with Rev. Jeff Taylor, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Hubbard was born September 1, 1932 in Wheeler, to V. B. & Etta Kate Hubbard. He graduated from Wheeler High School in 1951 and received a football scholarship to West Texas State University. He received a B.S. degree from West Texas State University in 1957 where he was a member of the T-Club. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving as a medic in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by Santa Fe Railroad for several years in Amarillo. He had been a resident of Pampa for the past 4 years, moving from Canyon where he had resided for 40 years. He was a Methodist. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Charles Hubbard and Gene Hubbard.SURVIVORS: 3 Sisters: Pat Johnson & husband Bob of Pampa, and Kay Barnard and Jo Richards, both of Amarillo, and his two beloved companions, Foxy and Puppy.MEMORIALS: Pampa Meals on Wheels, 302 E.
