He married Melba Copeland on August 1, 1948 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1948. He was an electrician for SPS, retiring on September 1, 1986. He was a member of the Bible Church of Pampa.SURVIVORS: Wife: Melba Wilson of the home. 1 Son: Joe Wilson & wife Cheryl of Pampa. 2 Daughters: Lynda Smith & husband Don of Denison, and Brenda Glovier & husband Kevin of Dumas. 1 Sister: Margie Burleson of Baytown. 6 Grandchildren: Chris Glovier of Arlington, Greg Glovier of Keller, Keva Reed of Dalhart, Julianna Goff of Denison, Holly Churchwell of Amarillo, and Luke Wilson of Waxahachie.
