Lewis Ellis, retired Baptist minister, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Heard was born on Jan. 20, 1951 in Archer City, Texas. She married Louis Heard on Oct. 21, 1989 in Lefors. He preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 2002. She was an avid pet lover. She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Duckworth, and 2 brothers, Connie Lee Duckworth, and Henry Simpson Duckworth.SURVIVORS: Father: J. B. Duckworth of Lefors; 3 sisters: Mildred McDonald of Avinger, TX, Doris Lundy of Wichita Falls, and Nancy Jo Lowther of Pampa; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
