She worked at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas as a division assistant for 14 years. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1986. She had been a member of Central Baptist Church since 1987.SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Reta Alley of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. 1 Son: Gary McCurley of Mesquite. 1 Sister: Marge Walker of Pampa. 1 Brother: Ralph Hix of Lefors. 3 Grandsons, 1 Granddaughter, several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Arvol Hix and John O. Hix, and 2 sisters, Edna Dunn and Ruby Hammond.MEMORIALS: Central Baptist Church, 513 E. Francis, Pampa, Texas 79065.
