SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 5, 2005, at the Crownhill Cemetery in Evergreen, Colorado, with local arrangements under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Quante was born April 19, 1912 in Alma, Texas. She married Charles Vernon Quante on October 21, 1939 in Clovis, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on August 28, 1999. She had been a resident of Pampa for the past year, moving from Denver, Colorado. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness. SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Jack Hilton of Pampa, and Glen Hilton of Phoenix, Arizona. 1 Brother: Ted Whitfill of Phoenix, Arizona. 3 Sisters: Faye Scott of Phoeniz, Arizona, Gaye Taylor of Pasadena, California, and Tiny Cooper of northern California. 10 Grandchildren, 32 Great-Grandchildren, 19 Great-Great-Grandchildren.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, Texas 79065, or a favorite charity.SPECIAL NOTICE: The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 1:00-8:00 PM on Monday, with the family receiving friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday.
