SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, September 30, 2005, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Seth Timmens, grandson, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Timmens was born January 19, 1912 in Malvern, Arkansas. He had been a resident of Pampa from 1950 until 1962 when he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. He lived in Tulsa until moving to Amarillo in 1996. He was a Naval flight instructor during World War II and was discharged as a Lt. Commander. He was superintendent for the O. O. Fee Drilling Company from 1950 until 1957. He was a longtime pilot and flight instructor in Pampa, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was a longtime aviator and barnstormer.SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Timara Graves of Russellville, Arkansas. 2 Sons: Terry Timmens of Fritch and Talley Timmens of Canyon. 10 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren, 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Habitat for Humanity, 1533 N.
