SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 1, 2005, at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas, with Rev. Carl Novian, associate pastor of the First Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Holt was born June 3, 1923 in Breckenridge, Texas. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1940. She married Howard Holt on May 12, 1941 in Guymon, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in January 2, 1991. She was a longtime resident of Pampa, moving to Sparks, Nevada in 1962, and then to Englewood in 1999. She was employed by the U. S. Postal Service for 24 years, retiring in 1988 as assistant postmaster. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Pampa. SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: James Holt of Vienna, Virginia, and Jerry Holt of Centennial, Colorado. 6 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clinton Davis in 1935.
