He had been a resident of Pampa since 1935. He married Mary Louise Chaffin on July 31, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico. She preceded him in death on August 1, 1984. He later married Judy Walker on January 7, 1994 in Pampa. He was the owner and operator of Triangle Well Service for over 57 years. He also co-owned and operated Pampa Water Disposal Well. He was a member of the Top O' Texas Masonic Lodge #1381 AF & AM, the El Paso Scottish Rite Consistory, and the Khiva Shrine Temple of Amarillo. In 1984, he received a degree in theology. He was a Baptist.SURVIVORS: Wife: Judy Walker Hoover of the home. 2 Daughters: Deborah Hoover and Vickie Daley, both of Pampa. 2 Grandchildren: Marcus Dwayne Hall and Carrie Louise Angel, both of Pampa. 3 Great-Grandchildren: Christopher Howard, Hunter Dwayne Hall and Jessica Lee Hall, all of Miami. 2 Sisters: Mary Jean Mayfield of Levelland, and Kathryn Bryant of Pampa. Numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren & Mabel Hoover, 2 brothers, Bart Hoover and Chuck Hoover, and a sister, June Marie Hoover Daggett.MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity.
