SERVICES: 10:00 AM Thursday, August 25, 2005, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor of the Briarwood Full Gospel Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Masonic graveside rites courtesy of the Miami Masonic Lodge #805 AF & AM. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Dedmon was born November 11, 1928 in Elk City, Oklahoma. He married Nita Ray of Pampa on September 3, 1949, and celebrated 54 years of marriage. They lived 32 years in Miami, Texas. Bob was a 32nd degree Mason and was past worthy patron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Miami. Bob retired after more than 30 years as a pumper with Creslenn Oil Company. He was an accomplished mechanic, locksmith and carpenter, an avid fisherman and hunter, and enjoyed flying airplanes, riding motorcycles, waterskiing, and was a ham radio enthusiast. Bob enjoyed reading, dancing, and had a beautiful singing voice. He was also a devout Bible student and enjoyed being surrounded by his family and loved ones.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Sharon Holland of Denton, and Sandra Gilbert & husband Mickey of Livingston. 1 Son: Michael Dedmon of Pampa. Grandchildren include Gary Holland & wife Kari and Brad Holland & wife Kelly, all of Denton, and Amanda Gilbert and Sarah Gilbert, both of Livingston. He was also "PaPa" to Kayla Christina, Alex, Melissa, BreAnna, and Addision, all of Denton. He was preceded in death by his wife Nita, his parents, Stirling & Irene Dedmon, and a brother, Erdus Dedmon.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, Texas 79065.
