SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, August 12, 2005, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. Barry A. Loving, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Coombes was born December 19, 1919 in Clayton, New Mexico. She had been a lifelong resident of Pampa, graduating from Pampa High School in 1937. She married A. P. Coombes on December 19, 1938 in Pampa. She was a member of the First Christian Church, the Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star, and the Home Demonstration Club. She was a homemaker.SURVIVORS: Husband: A. P. Coombes of the home. 2 Sons: Charles Robert Coombes of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and Pete Coombes of League City. 2 Daughters: Mary Alice Lindvay of Amarillo, and Jackie Harper of Pampa. 13 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-Grandsons.
