SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Dr. Mert Cooper, a Presbyterian minister from Canadian, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Hasse was born May 28, 1916 in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin where she graduated as valedictorian of her class. She received her teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and her masters degree in business education from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She taught school at Mauston, Wisconsin where she met her husband, Warren L. Hasse. They were married January 31, 1944 at Avon Park Army Air Field in Florida. Following his honorable discharge from the service in 1945, they lived in Portage, Wisconsin, moving to Pampa in 1948. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Presbyterian Women's Association, and was a Sunday School teacher. She was a former member of the 20th Century Culture Club, and was a cub scout den mother, among her numerous volunteer activities. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She had a deep love for her family and friends, keeping in touch with letters and cards, and had a deep concern for animals of all kinds. SURVIVORS: Husband of 61 years, Warren L. Hasse of the home. 1 Daughter: Mary Schwab & husband Robert of Pampa. 1 Son: John L. Hasse of Canyon. 2 Granddaughters: Linda Sue Schwab and Sarah Marie Schwab, both of Pampa. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jeri Ann Hasse, her parents, Fred & Nettie Johnson, and a sister, Dorothy Walters. MEMORIALS: Critter Camp, 6105 W. Rockwell Road, Canyon, Texas 79015.
