He was born August 23, 1981 in Borger. He married Melissa Cox on October 23, 1999 in Borger. He has been a resident of Pampa for 6 years moving from Borger. He was employed by Frac Services in Pampa. He enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his family and friends.SURVIVORS: Wife: Melissa Porter of the home; 2 Daughters: C'Aire and Destiney Porter, both of the home; mother and father: Kelly and James Porter of Borger; 1 Sister: Curry Porter of Borger; paternal grandmother: Bertha Porter of Skellytown; maternal grandfather: Ralph Curry Jr. of Pleasanton, Texas. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bernice Porter, and by his maternal grandmother, Tommy Ann Curry.
