Hubert Kelly, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Parker was born May 5, 1931 in Clarendon. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and the National Guard, serving during the Korean Conflict. He married Maudine Hutching on October 30, 1954 in Pampa. He worked for the City of Pampa for a number of years. He worked for Pantex as a security guard for 13 years, and worked for Celanese as a welder, retiring after 20 years of service. He was an ordained minister at the Open Door Church of God in Christ.SURVIVORS: Wife: Maudine Parker of the home. 1 Daughter: Schivon Donehue of Pampa. 6 Sons: Charles Parker, Earvin Parker and Edward Parker, all of Amarillo, Stephen Parker of Pampa, Cedric Parker of Denver, Colorado, and Michael Parker of Phoenix, Arizona. 2 Sisters: Mary Gouldsby and Betty Ector, both of Wichita, Kansas. 4 Brothers: Earl Parker of Phoenix, Arizona, Jim Parker of Dallas, Bill Parker of Pampa, and Russell Parker of Wichita, Kansas. 20 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Alfred Richard Parker, Jr., a sister, Gladys Riley, and a brother, Sammy Parker.
