He married Alice Stacy on June 26, 2004 in Pampa. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lefors. He was a longtime employee of Frank's Foods.SURVIVORS: Wife: Alice Carpenter of the home. 3 Sons: Michael Carpenter of Mexia, Terry Carpenter and Alvin Carpenter, both of Amarillo. 2 Daughters: Melody Carpenter of Waco, and Rhonda Carpenter of Albuquerque, New Mexico. 2 Sisters: Patricia Kindle of Pampa and Betty McCarthy of Odessa. 8 Grandchildren.
