SERVICES: Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday June 1, 2005 at First Baptist Church of Skellytown with Rev. Fines Marchman, pastor, and Danny Trussell, pastor of River of Life Fellowship, officiating. BURIAL: Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: She was born January 16, 1920 in Rains Co., Texas. She married Benjamin Alexander Hassler on February 24, 1937 in Purcell, Oklahoma. He died November 5, 1992. She was a resident of Skellytown for over 60 years. She was employed by Marie Foundations for 10 years, a member of Pampa Quilt Guild, and First Baptist Church of Skellytown. She was preceded in death by her parents Ben and Bertha Taylor, one son: Clarence Joe Hassler, two grandsons: Roger Dale White, Jr. and Kevin Shawn Walden.SURVIVORS: 3 daughters: Bertha Porter, Carol Rovner, and Judy Hassler all of Skellytown. 4 sons: Jim Hassler of Amarillo, Tom Hassler and Alex Hassler both of Skellytown, and John Hassler of Garland, Texas. 2 sisters: Grace Tannihill of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Dorothy Hicks of Reedley, California, 23 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
