SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Aaron Laverty, a Baptist minister, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Herring was born August 20, 1936 in Vernon. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1994. He was self-employed and was a Baptist. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps and the U. S. Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Deborah Bridges of Pampa and Judy Huggins of Stratford. 2 Sons: Frank Herring of Alton, Missouri and Vernon Herring of Pampa. 3 Sisters: Norma Jean Close of Vernon, Selinda Beriagan of Burwell, Nebraska, and Sharon Ann Robertson of Graham. 13 Grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
