SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, May 13, 2005, at the Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock, with Nancy Ruff, lay minister from the First Presbyterian Church, Rev. Albert Maggard, pastor of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, and Dr. Edwin Cooley, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Austin was born December 27, 1916 in Shamrock. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1946. He attended the Church of God and the Pentecostal Holiness Church for many years. He was the #1 fan at the Optimist Club ballpark. SURVIVORS: 1 Nephew: Mike Ruff & wife Nancy of Pampa. 1 Niece: Anne Zochowski & husband George of Bristol, Tennessee. 8 Great-Nieces & Great-Nephews, special friends and caregivers. MEMORIALS: The Pampa Optimist Youth Club, 601 E. Craven, Pampa, Texas 79065, or a favorite charity.
