SERVICES: 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at the First Baptist Church, with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery, with military rites courtesy of the U. S. Army Personnel, Ft. Hood, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Brook was born April 9, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York. He had been a resident of Cimarron, Oklahoma, then Kelly Field, and then came to Pampa in 1942 from Enid, Oklahoma. He married Virginia Line on August 21, 1943 at the Pampa Air Base. She preceded him in death on June 20, 1990. He later married Olga Talbert on February 14, 1993. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a member and past master of the Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 AF & AM, the Khiva Shrine Temple of Amarillo, and the Lubbock Scottish Rite Consistory. He was a member and past president of the Pampa Rotary Club. He was a former Pampa City Manager and worked for Cabot Corp. as an engineer since 1956. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during World War II.SURVIVORS: Wife: Olga Brook of the home. 1 Sister: Catherine Griggs of New York City, New York. He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Dimmler.
