He had been a resident of Skellytown since 1974. He was a self-employed contract pumper from 1961 until the present time. He was a former member of the Skellytown Lions Club and the Barrett Baptist Church of Pampa. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army National Guard.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Chris Harper of Skellytown. 1 Daughter: Marcy Gillispie of Skellytown. 1 Sister: Alice Harris of Pleasanton. 3 Brothers: Roy Harper of Dallas, Freddie Harper of Canadian, and Gary Harper of Skellytown. 3 Grandchildren.
