Jeff Metzler, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Panhandle, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Powers was born October 13, 1917 in Miami, to Archie Walter & Alta Mae Chisum, and was reared near Miami. She married Robert Paul Powers on June 28, 1936 in Canadian. He preceded her in death in January of 2001. She had been a resident of White Deer since 1940. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of White Deer, and the White Deer Senior Citizens Center.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Lewis Powers & wife Tommie Kay of Panhandle. 1 Daughter: Glenda Ruthardt McCullough & husband Steve of Amarillo. 2 Brothers: Adrian Chisum & wife Pat of Mt. Pleasant, and Calvin Chisum & wife Donna of Battle Mountain, Nevada. 5 Grandchildren: Trena Ruthardt Beckman, and Darren & Buffy Ruthardt, all of Amarillo, Lewetta & Robert Hefley of Texline, Kevin & Jowannah Powers of Panhandle, and Kelly & Tad Smith of Pampa. 10 Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.MEMORIALS: Odyssey Hospice, 1000 S.
