BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Jackson was born November 4, 1922 in Ranger, Texas. He married the love of his life Floy Jean Mikeal on February 3, 1942. They were married for over 60 years before she preceded him to heaven in September of 2002. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps, joining in March of 1943 and working as a glider mechanic. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1946, moving to Grand Junction, Colorado in May of 2003. He worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, retiring after more than 40 years of service. He was a member of the First Christian Church.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Eschol Eugene Jackson of Amarillo. 1 Daughter: Mollie Reeves & husband Kevin of Grand Junction, Colorado. 4 Grandchildren: Shane Jackson & wife Amy, Shawn Jackson & wife Bobbi, Kevin Benjamin Reeves and Alyssa Reeves. 3 Great-Grandchildren: Tiffany, Erin & Austin, and many wonderful, dear friends in Pampa and Grand Junction who were extended family.
