He married Ailene Weatherred on December 21, 1951 in Pampa. She preceded him in death on January 19, 1991. He was an avid sports fan as well as a gardener. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Everyman's Bible Class.SURVIVORS: 1 Brother: Bennie M. Coker of Sherman. 1 Sister: Irene M. Clark of Dallas. Special friend & caregiver: Jean Carter of Pampa. 1 Sister-in-Law: Clara Jane Sexton of Lubbock. 3 Nieces, 1 Nephew.
