SERVICES: 4:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2005, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Ronnie Goode, associate pastor of Trinity Fellowship Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Greene was born January 23, 1921 in Oilton, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1956. He married Pauline Myers on August 29, 1949 at Nocona. She preceded him in death in 1993. He was a tool pusher and worked for F. W. A. and Service Drilling Company for a combined total of 35 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during World War II.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Steven Greene & wife Sharon of Pampa. 1 Daughter: Ginger Howe & husband Dwight of Amarillo. 2 Stepsons: Curtis Fletcher of Tampa, Florida, and Ronald Fletcher of Tempe, Arizona. 6 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lenora Young, a brother, Lynn Lahann, and a great-grandson, Dakota Greene.
