SERVICES: 3:00 PM Saturday, February 26, 2005, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, Texas, with Mrs. Paula Heskett of the New Walk Ministries International, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Smith was born January 5, 1922 in Tell, Texas. She married C. L. Smith on January 6, 1940 in Childress. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1986. She had been a resident of White Deer from 1956 until 1990 when she moved to Plano. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Allen, Texas.SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Joel Smith of White Deer, and Chadd Smith of Arlington. 1 Daughter: Judy D. Smith of Plano. 3 Brothers: Shorty Smith of Hughes Springs, Dub Smith of Borger, and J. C. Smith of Tell. 1 Sister: Gladys Timmons of Tell. 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Smith on June 4, 1997, a grandson, Charlie Jack Smith in 1980, a sister, Aletha Garner, and 2 brothers, Bud Smith and Doodle Smith.MEMORIALS: Vista Care Hospice, 5424 Rufe Snow Drive, Suite 414, Fort Worth, Texas 76180.
