SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 24, 2005, at the Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, February 25, 2005, at the White Rock Cemetery in Elm Mott, with Rev. Scott Darby, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cason, Texas, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Cox was born December 16, 1928 in Elm Mott. She married Doud Cox on April 4, 1952 in Bellmead, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1993. She had been a resident of Beaumont from1959 until 1999 when she moved to Pampa. She was a longtime member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Beaumont, and was a current member of the Central Baptist Church of Pampa.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Ray Cox of Daingerfield. 1 Daughter: Elaine Johnson & husband Don of Pampa. 1 Brother: R. Kenneth Ramsey & wife Bernice of Elm Mott. 6 Grandchildren: Charles Kraus & wife Janine of Justin, Alan Cox & wife Shonda of Fort Worth, Susan Johnson of Amarillo, Clayton Johnson of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Emily Johnson of Borger, and Jacob Johnson of Pampa. 1 Great-Grandchild: Madison Cox of Fort Worth. Several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lois Farrar, and her parents, Raymond L. & Oma Ramsey. MEMORIALS: Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, 600 W. 11th, Amarillo, Texas 79101, or Central Baptist Church, 513 E. Francis, Pampa, Texas 79065.SPECIAL NOTICE: Mrs. Cox will lie in state at the funeral home until 10:30 AM Thursday, February 24, 2005.
