Mildred Waters Greenhouse Mantooth

SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, at the Miami Cemetery in Miami, with Rev. Lance Wood, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Miami, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Mantooth was born January 27, 1913 in Anson, Texas. She was a lifelong resident of the Texas Panhandle, except for the few years that she lived at the Red River Ranch near Springer, New Mexico. She lived in Briscoe, Miami, and had been a resident of McLean since 1961 before moving to Pampa in 2000. She married A. G. Greenhouse on December 24, 1929 in Zybach. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1961. She later married Odell F. Mantooth on April 15, 1965 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1981. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. SURVIVORS: 3 Sons: Dale Greenhouse & wife Rebecca of Pampa, Harold Greenhouse & wife Belva of Amarillo, and Wayne Greenhouse & wife Sylvia of Abilene. 1 Brother: Cecil Waters of Amarillo. 1 Sister: Bessie Walker of Pine Grove, California. 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and a grandson. MEMORIALS: First Baptist Church, 114 E.
