Rick Parnell, associate pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Simpson was born May 14, 1928 in Altus, Oklahoma to Edwin and Ola Bell Walker Clark. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1970, and was a former McLean and Perryton resident. She married Cecil Simpson on November 22, 1948 in Wheeler. He preceded her in death in 1992. She was a telegraph operator for the Rock Island Railroad and worked for Ideal Food Stores for several years. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church. She authored a book of poetry that was copyrighted.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Scott Simpson of Pampa. 1 Sister: Ruth Braxton of Amarillo. 2 Stepsisters: Helen Greninger of Hemet, California, and Pearl Hicks of St. Louis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers, Randall Clark, Ray Clark, Marvin Henderson, Clifford Putman, Barney Putman, and Chester Putman, and a sister, Loretta Henderson Flowers.MEMORIALS: Central Baptist Church, 513 E.
