SERVICES: 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Billy Jones, minister of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ of Amarillo, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at the Butler Cemetery in Butler, Oklahoma, with Ronald Fletcher, Church of Christ minister of Butler, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Broadbent was born December 4, 1931 in Butler, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1952. He married DeLoris Ann Terry on October 17, 1954 in Clovis, New Mexico. She preceded him in death on November 10, 2001. He owned Broadbent Scrap Metal for 35 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a Baptist.SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Alan Broadbent and Charlie Broadbent, both of Pampa. 1 Daughter: JoAnn Adams of Pampa. 1 Sister: Barbara Dodson of Nowata, Oklahoma. 8 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Sarah Broadbent, one brother, Floyd Broadbent, and one granddaughter, Ashley Broadbent.
