SERVICES: 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 19, 2005, at the First Baptist Church, with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Edmondson was born August 3, 1926 in Fort Worth to Thurman and Ruth Hallmark Cline. She came to Pampa in 1941 and was a 1943 graduate of Pampa High School. She married Robert L. Edmondson on March 9, 1945 in Marysville, Kansas. While Mr. Edmondson was in the service, they were stationed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tucson, Arizona, and Roswell, New Mexico. After World War II, she and her husband became partners with Mr. Edmondson's father in the Pampa Oilers professional baseball club. That partnership later purchased a ranch in Burlington, Colorado in 1950, where she helped build the First Baptist Church of Burlington. In 1962, they purchased a mountain ranch in Lake City, Colorado, known as Valley View Ranch. She and her husband were instrumental in building Edmondson Hall at the First Baptist Church of Lake City. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for over 50 years, where she served as Sunday School superintendent, and was a greeter for over 30 years. She was a member of the 20th Century Allegro. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Hallmark Cline.SURVIVORS: Husband: Robert L. Edmondson of the home. 1 Son: Ron C. Edmondson of Corsicana. 1 Sister: Norma Ruth Stephenson of Pampa. 1 Brother: Thurman Cline & wife Doris of Fort Worth. 1 Granddaughter: Dr. Amy Edmondson Mulroy & husband Dr. Patrick Mulroy of San Antonio. 2 Great-Grandchildren: Ian Patrick Mulroy and Duncan Stuart Mulroy, both of San Antonio. 3 Nephews: Terry Cline, Dale Cline and Don Cline. 5 Nieces: Caprice Bauer, Terra Edwards, Leesa Sanders, Tonya Paul, and Debra Briley.
