Barry Loving, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Payne was born December 26, 1913 in Cleveland, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1934. She married Otis E. Payne on January 19, 1936 in Sayre, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1980. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone and AT&T for 32 years, retiring in 1966 as wire chief assistant. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was a former member of the American Business Women's Association and the Police Officers Wives Association.SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Vicki Phillips & husband Joe of Pampa. 3 Grandsons: Greg Phillips & wife Heidi of Lubbock, Mike Phillips & wife Johnetta, and Monty Phillips & wife Traci of Kings Bay, Georgia. 8 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
