SERVICES: 2:00 PM Thursday, January 6, 2005, at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor of the First Baptist Church, and Darrell Burton, Odyssey Hospice chaplain, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Franklin was born April 19, 1911 in Grayson County, Texas. She married Floyd Elmer Franklin on December 20, 1933. He preceded her in death in 1974. She had been a resident of the Pampa area since 1948. She was a member of the Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star, and the First Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: 1 Son-in-Law: C. F. "Shorty" Lilley of Skellytown. 1 Grandson: Gerald Lilley & wife Cheryl of Pampa. 2 Granddaughters: Paulette Lilley of Pampa, and Janette Coats & husband Pat of White Deer. 1 Great-Grandson: Bryan Coats of Amarillo. 2 Great-Granddaughters: Jennifer Coats and Kim Coats, both of White Deer. Several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Paulene Lilley in 1993, 3 brothers and 1 sister.MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity.
